Jemma Bimrose

Jemma is a motivated and performance-driven leader, with over 15 years financial management and corporate governance experience, with a passion for supporting for-purpose business to achieve ethical, effective and efficient performance-driven results. Jemma has a particular interest in Indigenous business, having lived and worked in several remote communities, with extensive experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations.

Having held executive-level positions throughout her career, Jemma has a unique ability to effectively identify how to operationalise strategic goals and formulate and implement effective plans and methodologies to execute outcomes and achieve organisational goals. She builds and sustains effective relationships that support collaborative partnerships and she has mentored and coached owners and businesses and delivered learning and development packages to embed change.

She has extensive experience in compliance and audit including senior management corporate governance and compliance role with a national aged care provider. She has successfully delivered projects and implemented change across a large aged care organisation of ~1,000 employees. For instance, she was the project lead responsible for implementing legislative changes in aged care provider governance responsibilities, mandated by the Royal Commission into Aged Care. Gemma also supported service quality and continuous improvement efforts, conducting internal audits against ISO 9001:2018 and the Aged Care Quality Standards, and two extensive reviews to identify gaps and areas for improvement in managing a brokered /sub-contracted workforce as a key risk area in the aged care industry.
