Rural, Remote and First Nations Providers
Distance Changes Everything
Thinner margins, harder recruitment, and the same regulatory obligations as a provider with a head office and hundreds of staff.
Many of our team live and work in regional, rural and remote Australia. We have first-hand experience of what it takes to deliver services a long way from anywhere.
Harvest works with providers in small rural towns, remote communities and First Nations organisations across Australia. The work is practical and hands-on:
business systems and process review
policy, procedure and documentation review
audit readiness and continuous improvement planning
Support at Home implementation
budgeting, and setting service pricing
coaching and mentoring for managers and staff
general advisory support and guidance to boards
recruitment assistance and advice
Support at no cost through SDAP
Much of this work can be delivered free of charge under the Australian Government's Service Development Assistance Panel (SDAP). Harvest is a panel member.
You may be eligible if you are:
located in a small rural town or remote area (MMM 4–7), or
providing services to a significant number of First Nations peoples, anywhere in Australia.
Applications go to the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, and are assessed on need and available funding.
Not sure whether you’re eligible, or what to ask for?
